The Philippine Village Historical Site collects and preserves original materials related to the 1904 World’s Fair. Digital images are currently available by request. New donations or purchases are welcomed and ensures that materials are properly interpreted, cared for, and appreciated by our community.


Brochures and Booklets

  • Official Philippine Exposition brochure. Includes an illustrated map of the Philippine Village and descriptions of the exhibits with photographs.

Photographs

  • Set of 10 photographs taken in the Samal Moro Village by Julien Janis in 1904. Includes photographs of Datu Facundo, Evid, and several unidentified Samal men, women, and boys. Donated/provided by his granddaughter Caroline Herrera.

Lantern Slides

  • Black and white glass lantern slide of a view of the Visayan Village. Arrowhead Lake is in the foreground with giant clam shells along the shore and by the stilts of the nipa huts. A group of white women walk past the huts. The Intramuros building stands in the background.
